The planning stages for Camp 2003 is currently underway. Planning started on August 17th of 2002, in Atlanta, GA,
in conjunction with the Vietnamese Youth Fellowship of Georgia (VYFGA).
VYCA and VYFGA will be jointly planning the activities and locations
for Camp 2003. At the planning meeting in
Georgia, tentative dates and locations have been decided. We are
looking at Camp Rock Eagle in Georgia for the week of July 27 to
August 1, 2003. As a fallback, we have for consideration EMU in
Virginia for the week of August 3 through August 8, 2003. We are currently looking for more
persons interested in taking leadership and group leader roles for the 2003 camp.
There will be two more major planning meetings before August
2003. The first will be in Orlando, FL, from Dec. 27 to Dec. 29,
2002. The location is Woodlands Lutheran Ministries and the
purpose will be to firm up the number of group leaders and for
Leadership Training. The second will be from June 6-8, and is
tentatively set to be in Atlanta, GA, for final group leader
preparations and training. Please
